Funny comic strip

First off, I'm not the kind of jerk that "reads the funnies"... but a friend pointed this comic strip out to me, and I'm totally hooked now... It's the classic animals and people comic, but the writing is top notch imo. Personally, I think it's hilarious lol, this was last week's:

Hey... I like the comics page.

Peals Before Swine is extremely irreverent and a nice breath of fresh air on the comics page, however. You might also like Get Fuzzy:

Again, you might want to go back a month or two to get the feel of the comic.

Kudos to the Oregonian for having a great comics section. (Although if they got rid of Ziggy, I would give them even more kudos).

I can understand why he wanted to stop though. It would have been terrible if the Far Side became stale and predictable, and I imagine that it would be really hard to be that off-the-wall 365 days a year.

For as sad as it was to lose the Far Side and Calvin & Hobbes, it would be even sadder to hear people say "Wasn't the Far Side hilarious before it jumped the shark?"
