Does anybody have a cracked Microsoft Office or anything available for download? I have a CD to an old version but I lost the CD key ; ; I'm sick of typing with notepad ; ;

OpenOffice ftw. It reads/writes all of MSOffice's file types.

Abiword is pretty good too. Its a lot more trimmed down than openoffice.

It's awful
IT's ok if you have never used MS Word and as a basic program, but if you used many of MSWords functionalities you probably won't like openoffice. It's also not good for keeping formatting - so if you open a document created with MS Word or open an openoffice document in MS Word then most likely any layout alterations/formats etc will be lost.

As a standalone text writer that's not going further than your PC - it's probably fine.

I'm with popeh on this one, I had openoffice last year and it was decent, but it would comlpetely rape my documents formatting when I tried going to other PC's. Even saving in ms format, back to my warez I went.

the really nice thing about OO is writing to pdf. the really bad thing about OO is that it can't handle office documents well. sure it's good enough to read, but (as LW said) most of the formatting is gone.

if you just need basic word processing, spreadsheets and slides and sticke to the OO native formats (or pdf) it's great. however, if you need to edit and exchange office documents, there is no replacement for MSoffice.

that being said, there are a buncha torrents running around. i'm sure you'll find something in the torrent search engines
