I admit the one Epical posted was pretty cool, but what the FUCK at the baby commercial? What the fuck is it trying to convey other than it's the creepiest shit ever.

Oh, and as a side note maybe Sony should have not spent money on commercials and used that extra dough to make more systems .

the best part though was the show on after which featured The Wililam Shatner hosting a game show and dancing.. priceless.

I'm just bitter that shit like Skating with Celebrities replaced Arrested Development (one of best shows ever). I have to watch the end of Dancing with the Stars before lost each week and it hurts my brain. Before Dancing with with the stars and Skating with Celebrities, I often wondered what it would be like if zombies attacked me and devoured my brain. Now I have a rough understanding.

Sony seems to be going for the Metaphysical/Modernist type of Ad that they used when PS2 first came out. Remember the "Third Place" one by David Lynch and the "Wolfman" ads?
The ones that aired once and never again but still stayed in your head? They were good but like the current PS3 ones they say nothing about the console of its games.


Nintendo's Ads are better though. "Wii would like to play" is a fucking BRILLIANT tag-line for an Ad campaign.

I personally enjoy the lack of emo boys which seemed to be in every ad(televised or otherwise) for the pass 2 years Nintendo has given us. I like the commericals, they are not bad at all.

The PS3 commericals simply don't make sense. It's not really "artistic", just like using a filter on photoshop isn't "artistic". It's just random stuff that doesn't really mean anything, but people who don't get it will say "wow, that is deep".

The ps3 ad with the motion sensor controller is decent and creative, but the one with the baby = WTF? What the hell was that supposed to mean, seriously lmfao. It's like that Dave Chapelle segment where he talks about commercials being nothing about what they're trying to sell.
