Shows you still pine for

More than a year after a friend recommended it to me, I finally got around to watching Serenity and was amazed at how good it was. Upon discovering it was a movie of the cancelled Firefly, I downloaded them all, watched them in a day and was even more impressed with those than I was with the movie.

It got me thinking about other cancelled shows though.

Personally, I really wish they'd make more episodes of Carnivale after it was pulled at the second season.

I'm sure 95% of the people here would list Futurama as well.

So yeah! The point of this topic is to list shows that got cancelled which you still miss. I guess they don't even have to be cancelled per se if you can't think of any, just shows that eventually ran their course like X-Files (hell, I still miss it). Maybe I'll even find something "new" to watch myself.

Now & Again was a good show.

It had Eric Close (guy from Without a Trace), Dennis Haysbert (24).

The premise was they were trying to build the perfect government operative but they couldn't get the brain right. So they gave John Goodman's character, an insurance executive, a choice.. he could have his brain put into this perfectly engineered 30 year old body (Eric Close) or he could die. The catch was he couldn't contact his family again (wife & daughter). It only lasted a season but it was a pretty damn good show.

Too bad it got cancelled.

Seinfeld wasn't cancelled, If I remember right, the creators decided to end the show.

Futurama will obviously win and should win the thread.
