When I click the ??? for the Warrior Weapon quest (Razor Axe)... Do I have to be on my Warrior or can I be on BLM75 or something?

I checked Mysterytour/Wiki/KI and they didn't say.

Once you have the quest started, you can be any job. I accidently spawned the bard af dagger NM while screwing around on my 50 bst.

I think the only time you need to be on the job after you start the AF quests is when you open coffers for AF (with the exception of the gloves), and when you need to use a specific ability during the cutscenes. (And the only one that I know like that is for BLM AF.) I did all of my WAR AF fights on RDM.

The only exception I ever found to this was BLU AF. Had to actually be on BLU to do the AF1, so I couldn't get away with doing the switch to 50+job, use assault orders to get to all staging points for free deal. Sept's right though. DRG AF3 requires the use of an ability too, but that's the only other one I can think of.

DRG AF3 requires you to have your wyvern out to pop the NM, but you only need to pop it once for everyone in the party that's doing it.

But yeah, most AF quests only require you to flag the quest on the job. You can then use whatever other job you have to finish it.

Two of your other jobs do as well Michaera . Ranger is required to Scavenge in the leech pool of Castle Oz, and Thief needs to steal to get Quadav Stew.

Just to nitpick, but I believe you can steal that soup /THF.

And /RNG can do the Scavenge; I went up there as THF/RNG so as not to be eaten by Yagudo.

Well yea, but like Bagel said ya can do both of those on another main job. I've had all my friends that have 75s and are leveling RNG do the hat on some other job so they don't have to deal with all the aggro and stuff a 50s RNG gets up there. Same goes with the THF one, yup.

I should have specified mainjob abilities! Touche!

BLM AF3 requires you to manafont before the NM :S can do the actual fight as any job tho.
