I was going to make this exact thread, but I was going to add a poll and bring it to Adult Swims attention. I watched it just to give it a chance. After seeing how much it sucked, I wasn't even gonna bother with that dumb looking Saul mole man whatever show.

I miss old school Adult Swim. I'd rather watch reruns of Trigun and Cowboy Bebop forever than change the horseshit they've been airing lately.

I'm like absolutely sick of Family Guy. I was sick of it 7 years ago when it got canceled originally. While it does has its moments, its been downhill in terms of quality since it got canceled(which is why it got canceled in the first place). Now its just material for dumb and uncreative kids to say to each other. Oh my god, nothing is worse than hearing people quote Family Guy, not even Borat or Chappelle Show compare. I literally can't watch Family Guy now, I'd rather watch some show about gay people exploring Egyptian Ruins on Bravo instead. And I swear to god, if that guy(who was funnier in those commercials he made than his actual show) copies off one more 10 year old internet fad...

Futurama on the other hand, oh yes, quality... but, this is whored as much as Family Guy. I really hope the new episodes are better than what Family Guy has become.

Assy McGee is actually pretty funny, but it doesn't have the staying power as other shows. Tom Goes to the Mayor is even worse, even for people who find it funny(like I did), it simply can't have more than 3 episodes, because all of its jokes become used up. What they should do is make one 1-hour show that bunches all these "subpar" Adult Swim shows into one. I mean they can be funny, but only a handful of times. Robot Chicken, ATHF, and ect can stay because they are on par with the best of comical cartoons.

And yeah, anime is where it all began... I wished they didn't diss it so. I mean really if they just give us subtitled anime less than a day old in Japan, they could make a lot of money. Otherwise, the real fans are going to torrent/download it.

I do agree Futurama and Family Guy are getting a bit "washed up" in terms of entertainment, but when faced with Futurama/Family Guy versus the other crap, I'd pick those two anyday. I've sat through and watched Tom Goes To the Mayor, and it doesn't appeal to my funny bone at all. Never watched an episode of Assy McGee, and I honestly doubt I will.

However I agree with you about Robot Chicken and ATHF, they will always be funny to me. I also agree that they should show more anime, and not replay Fullmetal Alchemist (I love the show, but I want to see some more anime too) for the hundredth time. Hell, even bring back the old anime on Adult Swim like Outlaw Star.

Pretty much, though I don't think I hate it, just think it's time slot could be used for something better. Just for you, though, I'll watch the episode that's going to come on tonight then I'll base my decision on it instead of assumption.

Assy Mcgee was pretty funny, as where a decent number of the recent shows added in 2006.

IDK someone must have snapped to think that Tim and Eric and Saul of The Molemen were good ideas for Adult Swim.

Wiping my ass and filming the paper swirling in the toilet bowl for 15 minutes would probably be more entertaining then either of these shows.

I agree that Adult swims lineup is going to the shitter! Seriously I used to leave my TV on Comedy Central and when I woke up in the morning they would be playing those Girls gone wild commercials! That is how bad it is! Tom Goes To The Mayor, Twelve Ounce Mouse (And their old obnoxious commercials with the fucking fog horn at 3 in the morning or w/e that commercial was), and so many others are just so fucking terrible! I would watch Oprah or Tyra banks show over that shit! But yeah Adult Swim needs to rethink their programming!

Every time I think of harvey birdman, I imagine myself as an exec at cartoon network, and having this show pitched to me. When he's done describing his show I jump up and down on my desk screaming yes yes yes! Then we go out for drinks at a stripclub and I buy him a hooker.
