While I agree that people can get addicted to the internet, this is pretty LOLish.

is the problem that korea and china kids are always way too addicted to online games. It is hard to believe if you didnt read the news there once every year a kid die before he played CS/starcraft/wow for straight of 72hrs in internet cafe
Awesome, so all it takes to live like a king in China is to scream "Its for your own good!" and electrocute people, noted. Most have been forced to come by their parents, who are paying upward of $1,300 a month -- about 10 times the average salary in China -- for the treatment.
They're electrocuting the wrong Chinese people...they should be going after those dirty girserrers.
because in china, the government takes upon itself to "cleanse" its populace. more specifically, it has passed a series of outlandish legislations in the name of "for your own good", such as regulations on how many hours people can play WoW or other online games, death penalty for drug users, censorship on BBS and forums, etc. no wonder kidds have no self control when they stumble upon new games/technologies, because they have grown accustomed to all the absurd regulations established by the government.Originally Posted by Intense

Theyre locking up the RMT, not banning them.Originally Posted by Norelco
I laughed when I read that, only because I get that many hours online at work and then double that when I get home XD. Though it makes you wonder if they act like Chapelle the first couple of weeks, "Gimme some internet man, I'll suck yo dick!" Almost as funny as the guy that killed himself over meeting someone from online...almost.Originally Posted by MSN

According to Newsweek it sometimes helps with depression when nothing else works, but it also causes memory loss and stuff. Some senator's wife or something did an interview about it.
Isn't it going to be awesome, in like 100 years, there will be 60 billion Chinese!?
one that has been blamed in the state-run media for a murder over virtual property earned in an online game
Damn, those RMT don't play games do they?
Right, they can come here and have Aurik yell at them for an hour, that will cure them. :DOriginally Posted by Justice
the problem is that the government is out to get you and its power is unchecked due to the one-party system. plus, Chinese are too sheepish to do anything about it.Originally Posted by Justice
