Got all worked up for a sec there :/
That's LotRO, incidentally (it's still in beta). Good stuff. Just outside Tom Bombadil's house.

Is that a blizzard game or are we "awaiting" copyright?
It would be like the 9th MMORPG to use the exact same goddamn interface as wow, don't be too surprised lolOriginally Posted by Scorp
It's made by Turbine, the same company that made D&D Online. Open beta (which you can get into by preordering it) begins March 30th, it's released sometime in mid-April.
What do you want to know about it?
The world is gigantic despite only covering Eriador currently (I believe they've stated plans to cover all of Middle Earth eventually though). Level advancement is heavily quest driven (at least in the beta). There's an optional semi-race specific prologue (elf and dwarf share their prologue and I think men and hobbits have their own), first "Book" of the main story begins around when Frodo and co. get to Bree and begins initially with you supporting the initial Strider+hobbits group behind the scenes but then shifts to attempts to thwart Angmar's impending invasion.
4 races: man, hobbit, dwarf, elf. Each has both genders but dwarf, but limited class selection (except men, which can be any).
7 classes:
Guardian - tank
Champion - DPS
Hunter - nuking
Captain - party buffs
Burglar - debuffing
Lore-master - crowd control
Minstrel - healer
There's a very nice balance between quests one can do solo and others that require a group.
