Planning group-stuff doesn't seem to be working out for me, so BCNMs and KSNMs are not a great choice.

Not around here, gold coins have deflated to about 8k a piece, not really worth it unless you have no real use for the IS.

If you get a shot to do so, take about 10-15 stacks (120 gil each @ Jeuno) of rolanberries to Crawlers' Nest and pop GC over and over, the dated berries run bout 800 gil each turned in @ selbina, and the silk drops are reasonable. It's a fairly consistent 50k or so for bout 90 minutes work

IGPs are holding at around 12-15k on Midgard, so the x9 calculation is rather spot on. It looks like it moves fast, but a lot of people like to flood the damn thing.

I have a crafting mule that I gave 40k to and never gave another gil. She's gotten to lolwoodworking 72 so far on that 40k. Basically by spamming low level items to gain gil to level.

You'd be surprised how lazy people are to make their own sheep leathers/lumber/cloths/etc. so you can make a good profit off them. Not like amazing 1 mil an item profit but it's pretty steady, and if you find the right item on your server they can sell pretty fast.
