Eliminate Specific Enemy vs Eliminate Boss

Dunno if anyone has mentioned this but I noticed all the bosses I killed looked like actual NMs, where as eliminate specific enemy's were all regular mobs (Ziz, Mousse) but they checked as Impossible to guage. Anyone else noticing a pattern like this?

I've to say, eliminating boss can be a pain. We got a "chariot" type of mobs on first floor, and with a strong para aoe that wipe shadow and do 450 dmg, we had a few death.

i did read them, saw people make comments about the ITG but didnt read anything about names or appearance beng different.

also dont know, but could it be worth while to make a list of the bosses names? Or has anyone seen a boss NM once that wasnt the boss second time around (probably too soon for anyone to see a repeat like this).

Whenever I've encountered "Specificed enemy" it's been a regular mob that cons ITG. Whenever it's been "defeat the boss" it's a very obviously named NM.

We had defeat the specified enemy, but there were 4 ITG Flans. Once we killed all 4 (I don't know if it was just the last one, or we had to kill all 4) we completed the objective. There were random DC mobs around the level that we ignored.

You sure you didn't get "Defeat the specified enemies" plural? That's also an objective that can pop up.

You sure you didn't get "Defeat the specified enemies" plural? That's also an objective that can pop up.
