Various, small issues.

Ever since this last update I've had a few annoying issues with FFXI. It's nothing that keeps me from playing the game, but they are obnoxious and I'd like to get rid of them if I can.

The first thing I noticed were these transparent lines in the starting menu:

Reinstalling and file checking didn't solve this.

The next thing I noticed while re-viewing a CoP CS is that the title name for an opening chapter flashes in a pulsing manner.

And also a few other weird minor glitchy things, like when tarus are standing around rocking to the right and left, their head will suddenly sort of jog to the side awkwardly.

There was also an issue where my PC would start looking for the POL CD every time I entered or returned to POL Viewer. I reinstalled and it fixed this.

The first thing I did was file check POL and FFXI, which didn't change anything so I just completely reinstalled which also changed nothing. Now I'm leaning towards it being a graphics driver problem, but both rolling back the driver and reinstalling the most current one didn't help either.

Has anyone else experienced these problems? My PC uses a Nvidia 73000 GeForce GT for reference. Any help is appreciated. Like I said, it doesn't really detract from me playing FFXI, so if I have to live with it that's fine.

I don't know about all of the issues you've stated, but if you want to fix the glitch with lines appearing in POL, go into your nVidia settings and disable anisotropic (or was it antialiasing?) filtering and it should go away.

Thanks, turning off AA fixed the menu lines. When it comes to FFXI I always forget about things like AA ><
