    Valor Leggings

Anyone know the exact details for the sentinel enhancement on these?

    Thanks!

starts at 100% reduction instead of 90% and drops from there.

Nitpicking but it's feet slot, not legs. Valor Breechers are leg slot <.<

They're called Valor Leggings and they are Feet Armor.

Fixed. You need the wait 1 or the second equip won't work. Also feet slot for the leggings.

I macro them, it's pretty much inventory -1 but it can be useful

I had a few macroes like that but it would annoy me changing the final line of the macro for every time I use a different foot armor so I try to stay away from them.. I usually use homam feet, but kiting would use Askar and sometimes I use af1+1..

I guess another concern would be dissapearing twice in a situation I would possibly need targetting for healing or w/e

For sentinel (and sentinel only) when I blink and then reblink for Valor Leggings I don't think I've ever taken more than 30 damage, even in dynamis lag.

It really is a solid damage reduction bonus.

100% vs. 90% damage reduction can be a godsend enough to warrant blinking in & out every 4:10. While it only starts at 100% that could still be hundreds of damage you are saving if you use it against Hundred Fists, or incredibly hard hitting mobs.

the best part is you don't have to worry about not getting cured becaues you blinked.. since sentinel is up at 100% you'll take little to no damage for a while.

i think you have to wear them for the whole duration of sentinel as well.

No you don't. You can instantly switch out and the effect is still gonna be higher than If you didn't put them on in the first place. And I have also seen in my tests of the effect that with the boots the speed of which the % goes down is slower and seemingly stops at a higher %.

i'm interested in these test figures. i haven't had time to check it out myself but just eye-balling it i've always felt you need to wear them continually. many pieces of afv2 are like that. the valor coronet, for example, is. you don't get the extra 15s if you aren't wearing it unless it has been changed very recently. if you remove it at like 34s you lose the other 11s you woulda gotten out of it iirc.

for the above poster, these don't add duration. it's still 30s no matter what. the coronets adds 15s to rampart though.

Untrue, you can remove the coronet right after activating rampart and it lasts 45 seconds.
