    TP Floor Help.

I've tried searching for tp rate, and tp floor - but alas, "TP" isn't searchable. And Floor has too many results.

    So.. my question:

Is there an actual minimum amount of tp that can be returned per hit regardless of weapon delay and dual wield reduction? I'm fairly sure on Thf, it's 4.5 a hit, but I'm wondering if it's lower than even that as sometimes on Nin, I think I'm under 9 tp a swing set sometimes, though I'm not entirely sure.

    Theoretically, there isn't
    Provided the formula is 5.0 + (Delay - 180) x 1.5 / 180 for delay 0~180,
it can go as low as 3.5TP/hit for 0 delay (just a hypothetical weapon) weapon

I thought it used to be floored at 5, and now (as of a year ago or so) is floored at 4? Or was that wrong information?

    used to be 5.0

Probably the lowest PT gain/hit you can have now is with koga hakama/suppa/nin chainmail +etc and unji/unsho

Yeah setting aside that it used to be 5.0 that everyone knows, what I'm asking to be clarified is if that change lowered it to 4.0, or simply removed it altogether. I've heard both myself, and don't think I'm capable of verifying it personally.

Edit: Sorry I might have put the parentheses in the wrong place, is anything less than 4 even possible? lol

Actually Perdu Blade delay is 190, so that'd be a little lower TP gain per hit compared to Unji or Unsho.

Except with that, you'd more than likely hit for 0 depending on the mob, so you wouldn't gain any TP at all.

You wouldn't hit for 0 at all unless your dagger skill is like....0.

Or you're fighting some IT++ or an HNM, and why the hell would you do that for the sake of a test.

    Re: TP Floor Help.

And even then your TP gain should be 4.1 with all that other crap so if there is a floor at 4 you can't see it anyway. Although TP floor might be 4.5? In which case you'd see it with u/p as well again assuming all that other dual wield gear (should be 4.3?). Undoubtedly that's the kind of thing someone has already checked, though.

You can get less than 4.5/hit, I tested that myself a long time ago (koga/suppa/ninja body etc).
