Anyone have this dagger? I've been trying to get the star sapphire, but no luck yet. I'm wondering how often the latent kicks in if it stacks with feint?

Assuming it's not the HQ version:

A little while ago someone came to me for the precursor. About 15 minutes after we did that I was told that they made the finished dagger.

However, to your real question, I have no clue if it stacks with feint.

IMO it's supposed to be the Mazurk (or whatever that 2 pronged polearm is) version of a dagger. Even if it doesn't boost your own damage output the rest of your party/alliance should do better with the evasion down effect active.

Doesn't Feint make the mob's evasion make it so your accuracy is 95%? Since that's the cap, any other evasion downs seem irrelevant(at least until Feint wears). If my prognosis of Feint is wrong, then idk if it stacks.

sucks balls. Dont even bother. I did testing on it somewhere, i forget where - was on this forum.

then again i guess that depends what your dagger choices are... might be good teamed with a blau dolch.

also proc rate on hnm is seemingly abysmal - i dont bother using it ever

I think I recall testing that said that feint was *at least* -65 evasion or something big like that. Couldn't be tested farther than that, since that was where the tester's acc gear ran out.

I think it was said that the procrate was abbysmal though, I kinda hoped it would be good, seeing how everyone has Khimaira synth mats out the ass.
Oh well, don't have to go though the trouble of getting a star sapphire at least. :3

It's ok, the evasion down works rarely on very high level stuff but on NMs in Assaults/Salvage and anywhere else you might screw around it kicks in fairly frequently. Had one made the weekend it came out, noticed it worked more frequently when I'd use Ice Threnody or on something that isn't too high a level.

Figure this might give you an idea, this is without Threnody so if you were say, a THF farming for Thief Knife you could expect to see something like this:

So basically it gives Evasion Down on stuff that you don't need Evasion Down on.
