High-Speed Soul Plates

I've done a bit more testing (not extensively) based on a theory about what HS Soul Plates do. I have seemed to get far better, rarer skills with the HQ. I got 2 Instant Phalanxes from Ominous weapons with 12 HQ plates and no Undead Killers or nonleveled traits, but 1 Instant Phalanx from 24 NQ plates with a lot of Undead Killers and an INT+25. The reason we didn't notice before is because we didn't know what was rare.

I originally got HQ plates because I thought they were better, and got stuff like Terrorizing Attack, Attack Speed Bonus, and Additional Light Damage, but didn't know those were rare or any good. With NQ plates, I do tend to get a lot of Aquan Killer and Water Resistance +2/Earth Resistance -2 shit.

So it could be true, but I didn't really use HQ plates for long, so its sort of a small sample size.

I'm not sure. When the Pit first opened, all I used was HQ (because they must be better, right?). But everything was so new, I had no idea what was good and what was not.

Earlier this week I took a crapload (~500) pictures of opo-opos. One set (60 shots) used HQ film. I actually saw what seemed like worse results (more failed pictures, more crappy results). However I was very annoyed and frustrated at that point, so that might have affected what I seemed to be seeing.

I got my auto-regain skeleton from a plate with arcana killer on it, so I am sticking with the cheap plates, but I think I have to agree about seeing more rare traits on the actual HS plates.

Edit: I do use corresponding hats when possible though.
