Rancor Mantle, any sign of it?

About a year ago I started getting the items for the Beastmen Treasure mini-quest in Yhoator Jungle. I got 3 of the items pretty fast.

Since then, I've been killing a LOT of Tonberry Cutters for the last piece, the Rancor Mantle, which apparently drops from them. It has never dropped for me, nor has it ever drop for a lot of friends who farmed there on various occasions throughout that year.

What I'm asking is, has anyone ever seen Rancor Mantle drop, and if so, was it from Tonberry Cutters? All sites I've looked say it drops from them, yet I can't any source confirming it.

Tonberry Cutters? I think I got a Rancor Globe killing those at PH Sozu Sarberry (that mother@#$#*&#$&@#*&#$*#&$...0/25). The droprate on the Beastmen Treasure miniquests is horrid, you can go hours without seeing a drop with TH4 while killing continuously. I've only completed the sahagin one and am working on the antica one, so I can't say for sure though.

I got one of these 2 days ago when helping a friend with his Coffer for Sam. We were killing Cutters for the Ugg Key for the door and it dropped. It ended up dropping to me. Was gonna toss it when I got back to town, but decided to keep it since I'll probably do the quest someday.

Anyways, info for what it's worth:

Mob: Tonberry Cutter
Where: Temple of Ugg. ; Coffer Section of the map in case it matters.

I completed the Antica one, working on this before before I start the Sahagin mini-quest.

Since you have completed the antican one, you know that some monsters only drop it in "some" areas. Example. There are Aedillis or w/e ranger mobs where dune boots nm spawns that wont drop the piece. However in the other part of the zone where pendragons axe nm spawns they do drop it. So this is probably the case with the ugg/rancor one.

The Antica one allows you a chance to get a Sand Mantle. Pretty much a nice backpiece for PLD in Dynamis-Bastok but other then that not much else.

A bunch of stuff can drop from the tonberry one, with Bitter Earring being the one unique item.

I had 3/4 rancor pieces a while back in storage and decided to finish it off, and ended up spending ages trying to get the last piece off of the Tonberry SMNs with TH1. Then I got the Bitter Earring and haven't been able to sell it since. It's pretty much worthless as near as I can tell but sells rarely for a few hundred k. Is this pretty much only bought by new RNG who can't read that the R.acc is only under cursed latent or is 5 DEF on the ear (4 dark resist isn't anything special) actually worth the price tag?
