Popping temperance

Has anyone else noticed troubles popping him? I spent a consistent 3 hours of constant killing at the SW tower with no pop...I took an hour break, and then went again with another 1 hour of consistent killing. All to no avail. This is the third night of a lot of devoted time to trying to pop temp and nothing has been seen.

Now i know, "Haha bad luck" but this is pretty insane. I know, probly going to every tower to kill would be smarter..but its just not an option, we usually do 3-4 people popping partys, going to north or SE tower would be too long and wouldn't work =/

Bad luck.

Safest way to pop is have a RDM/<any SJ> or a BLM/RDM go to 4 of the 5 towers (Cuz Galka is a pain to get to), and kill the PH. A RDM can nuke the PH dead with a Convert, leaving them at half MP, if they don't want to sleep the PH and /heal a bit before. BLM can kill even faster, but the ES Gravity is really nice to have if Temperance pops on them, cuz a resist will screw you if people can't get there fast enough.

Then when Temperance pops, Gravity + Kite while others get there, or if the person knows their way around, just have them sac it towards the entrance. No Movement Speed+ is required, you can outrun any of the normal mobs with ease. If you get TOO far away, too fast, it WILL lose hate. Check Kaeko's blog, a few posts back about how he can "pin" Temperance, if your holder can do that, you're set.

That's no excuse, we do low man roaming parties for temperance.

It doesn't take that long to get to North or SE... Only takes one quasi (same one for both). You can go to North with the quasi, then backtrack through all the doors and take the porter at the NW. Then you can use the ??? to get over to the SE side pretty quick. It's really not that bad.

I know you may just be trying to get lucky and have it pop at a quick tower but it's alot more likely to pop if you hit all the corners. Good luck

i hate you, it was just one, and i was trying the "pinning" thing Kaeko uses, GAWD.

We typically pop Temp first shot. Send a pair or Trio to each pop spot, Kill all at the same time. Pops instantly most times. If you don't have that many people, you can do 3 towers in like 5min if you start at the North tower, that gives you pretty good chances.
