Widescreen Question

I didn't want to bump the super old thread from last summer but since I reinstalled windower I don't know what aspect to set it for my 1280x1024 desktop resolution. Anyone know the ideal numbers to set for 16:9?

What's your widescreen desktop resolution? 1280x1024 isn't widescreen.

No I mean.. in the windower.ini you can set any res you want, I would like to set it widescreen but windowed. Your monitor won't even need to be widescreen. I did this at 1024x768, set the res in the ini file to 922x620

Something like 1152x648 would work, assuming you want it to be most of the horizontal size.

for a 1280x1024 display if you wanted widescreen I'd go with 1280x720 which is 16:9 iirc

Or 1280x800, which would give you 16:10.
