Cannot view knightsls.com from work

Maybe Septimus, or someone else . . . I don't really care who, can answer this question. When I come here from work, I can read the forums just fine. If I try to go to knightsls.com at work, knights is not viewable. It is blocked because it is associated with gaming. What have you done to disassociate this site with gaming so it can be read from the office?

hate to say this really, but once its on a blacklist for anyreason, you probably arent going to get it off just because you change what it lists it as.

Try using a proxy, unless they block stuff like that also.

Google PHProxy, go through a few pages, you should be able to find one that isn't blocked.

Same here where I work, anything under the Category gaming is blocked but this forum and BG wiki work just fine. The old wiki was blocked here though.

What do you mean use AoL? Like install their browser and crap? From those ancient 3.5" floppies? You're right I am going to laugh at you. I haven't tried it because I don't really want to, but does that actually work? And any idea why it works? Zigma you so silly.

aol passes everything through their server and feeds it to you. AoL = proxy. The beauty about it is that instead of going through a web proxy where cookies are stored, if they allow it, images don't load etc, aol wraps it up all nicely and it's almost impossible to block aol because believe it or not, people use it for work. When you go to work in the moring,

After you create your name. Uninstall version VR and get America Online 9.0 Optimized from http://www.oldversion.com/program.php?n=aol

You can keep the VR version but I find it very annoying because it wants to keep itself ontop and take control. That = bad.

I will try this zig. I'm usually not in the office because I'm a consultant. Everything is fine out here because our client doesn't use a web monitor. Next time I'm in the office I'll give it a shot and let you know if it worked. Thanks for the tip!

get a good manager like mine and they dont care

sure you can still get canned by upper management but you typically have to get caught/do something blatantly RETARDED (ie going to bangbros.com while at work...) for someone to bust you, still if you're that worried about it dont do it
