99% sure:

When you enter one of the jeuno-adjacents, you get spit out at a random one.

This one is your one and only entrance to the past for now. To unlock the other maws you need to exit the past in them, and you can then freely use them after to return to the past.

Confirmed this with West Saru, can freely enter/leave the past from there.

i entered the maw in batallia and it spit me out in batallia, should i be able to re-enter that one again? (I tav.ring'd myself out to change jobs)

Can re-enter from Roc where I got spit out... 100% sure this theory is correct

edit: Dunno if I got this message when I opened saruta, but opening rolanberry "A portal has opened within the depths of the maw" so.. yeah, I was right =D
