Don't wanna walk through the Inlet to get to Jugner Maw?

If you zone into Jugner atleast once, and go to Bastok or Windurst as your first nations, you can use the C.A. teleport services to teleport yourself right next to where the Outpost would be in modern times, therefore skipping the entire process of walking through the Inlet. Just a nifty thing I found I thought I'd share. <_<

After completing the first quest for your nation, you are able to use C.A. npcs to teleport to any zone that you have previously visited. It's quite handy.

You can go from Batallia [S] -> Jugner [S] -> Ronfaure [S] without going through the Vunkerl or Tele

There's a 2-way bridge on H-6
So you can go directly to Ronfaure from there, or get the Cavernous Maw access.

There is also a wall up top in H-6 that dont show on that map so no you cant get to that bridge from Batallia.

there is no gate at H-6. There's one at H-7 but even if you could open it, you couldn't get to Ronfaure from Batallia without going through Vunkerl first.

The sliced pole is a permanent keyitem and is not consumed when you use it.

The gate opens for anyone to pass (as opposed to only one player passing through via cutscene).

From the way it seems to me, you have to examine the Wooden Gate, which is located at the border of H-7 and I-7, twice before you can receive the keyitem. I could be mistaken, but I think zoning requires you to examine the Wooden Gate twice before locating the ???. (Think the cast metal plate mini quest.) I found the sliced pole on one of those wooden, raised platforms in the "area" of Jugner [S] closest to the Maw.

Does it work like the Mt. Zhal one where you can't zone after checking it, or you have to check it again?

the ??? definitely disappears, because in the time it took for me to check the gate and return to where I found the ??? (I found it but was unable to take it because I never checked the gate), it had disappeared.

whether this was because someone else took it or because of time, and whether it pops elsewhere or has a long repop on the single point (I saw it on a platform near La Vaule like the above poster), I don't know. I spent about 40 minutes going all over Jugner multiple times, even checking in areas past one-way dropoffs, and couldn't find the ??? again.

I got it just now, at the platform closest to present-day La'Theine entrance. It disappeared when I got key item, and less than 10 min later a friend spotted it on another platform, nearer to the gate. I think it only pops on platforms judging by the key item description, and has a quick if not instant repop after someone obtains it.

How are you getting to the gate and then being able to check the towers near present day la theine without tele'ing out of past jugner? Every way I check i have to make one way drop offs from orc towers. What pathway are you taking?

OPed to the C.A., short walk to the west side of the gate, click twice, then backtrack towards La Theine/Maw/Davoi/Wherever.

Yeah, on those platforms with the Bowshooters. As I said I saw it around E-11. I also saw it later on one of the two right next to each other just southeast of the VT gnoles that stand on their hind legs, my friend saw it on the one just west of the gate, and someone in this thread saw it by the Maw so seems pretty reasonable it can pop on any platform on the west half of Jugner S.
