halp please /bg/ {dualcore ?} network problems

So i install a dual core processor on windows XP pro corp SP2, and I randomly starts getting malformed packets with no real correlation to anything specific, even from my router.

When i boot into linux the problem isnt there at all. Google doesnt show anything relevant to my specific problem, just junk about dual core not running some games. I also switched network cards and that didnt do a damn thing.

I just don't want to have to reinstall windows basically <.>, wich probably isnt the real problem anyway

any suggestions aside from nuking microsoft HQ?

Edit: seems to be my firewall not being cool with dual core cpus.. gdi it's a good firewall too..

Definetly was the firewall. Firewall was sunbelt personal firewall. Zonealarm pro v7 does not have the problem at all.
