Never liked the guy, mainly due to some stupid drama with a friend (wouldn't let Lede borrow his Strider's so Lede flipped) so take this as biased if you wish. Always came across as an idiot to me (even before the Strider's incident) and seems to whine if things don't go the way he wants. I believe there was some drama about him leaving his LS on Unicorn because they wouldn't let him have Gaiters, but I don't know the full story so someone else will have to comment on that.

Getting the bad out the way, he's well geared and knows how to play his jobs well. I admittedly haven't came into contact with him much but whenever I have he's came across as a nice enough guy despite our little vendetta. I'd give him a chance despite how bad I may have made him seem, he was in a friends Dynamis LS for a long time without any problems and would likely make a good asset to yours. I will leave you with this gem however:

We were in the same ls for a few months. He's a pretty good WHM, always been top at supporting, same goes for SMN - well geared MNK too.

The gaiters thing was kinda meh, he overreacted when they were considered for sale because nobody camped them like the pairs before and there was some mistrust when 2 people left with many valuable drops the day before. We've had our differences too but he's not a bad guy if you know him a little better (KI forums dont count) Frisky will probably want to kill me now ;x :ashira: Definately a good asset to any dynamis ls either ways like kia said, I don't think anybody will argue that if they're fair.

Now please don't take any offense but if people in your shell like Lede camped Tiamat to get those Gaiters and your shell leads just decided it would be better to sell them off instead of gearing the mages who wanted them to use, wouldn't Lede have a right to be a bit upset about it?

I certainly sure as shit don't enjoy camping Tiamat for his longass windows just to have a drop turned into something else for someone.

No, this wasn't the point, they are not being sold based on leaders mood when ppl put effort into camping tiamat and really want them. But if someone leaves the shell after getting Dalmatica, E.Body, Ridill & other stuff aquired in 4-5 months, another person switches server w/o saying a word with A.Body & more ...all this one day before that tiamat... and your last gaiters end up in Batallia bazaars (not to fund anything) you do think about handing a 30M~ item out just like that again twice.

First person mentioned came back to the ls btw. and Lede would have gotten those gaiters in the end since stuff cooled down, if he just waited 2-3 days for the final decission instead of pushing it so aggressively, it has been done the same way before.

He didn't really camp Tiamat, but attended other events. This isn't the topic though, both sides were pretty stressed at that time, let's leave it at that. I have no hard feelings about it personally, good luck on the new server lede (I really mean it)

If the person in your shell was dedicated enough to show up to as many events as possible then it shouldn't be an issue. People are different and while one person may pull some scumbag crap like Aladek & Ayri, Some people possess enough of a moral barometer not to screw over the people who helped them get gear.

He might have. I don't pretend to know your situation but I can see why he'd be a little pissed off. It probably sounded to him that enough people in the shell didn't trust him enough to take the gaiters and not run with them. It's hard making a call like that so I can sympathize with you but I think the people pinning a lot of the blame on Lede need to step back a little and look at the person they're talking about. Even after the recent things that had happened, I'm pretty sure Lede would have stayed on his server if he didn't feel like he wasn't wasting his time trying to get so much done.

I think he'll do ok on Fairy or wherever he finally decides to make his new home. I'll be honest in saying I'm a bit biased since I knew Lede way before this game ever came out. I ended up starting on Fairy in '03 and he ended up on Unicorn.

Sucks but it was nice coming in contact with an old friend after all this time but I was a little dissappointed he left his server seeing as I recall him saying he had a lot of friends but he felt that the drive to get things done in his shell wasn't there anymore.

lol lede switched servers? avi what did you do!

true lede gets grumpy with ppl that dont let him run 12% faster (just ask aviry or frisk >.>)
and he spells like he failed 3rd grade spelling (don't point that out he gets grumpy)

other than that KI post with frisk most ppl just kinda ignore lede for the most part (he is a smn that wears dalmy which i totally don't get at all....)

gl to him on the new server i think you should give him a chance maybe with a fresh start he can get rid of all the mess he had here, from what i've heard and seen he isn't that bad (only pt'd with his blm and it wasn't bad)

When I sometimes get the rare chance to join a merit PT with my SMN, I end up slapping on full Zenith/Dalmy as well seeing as I'd rather have the extra 250mp over spamming BPs since most mobs in merits don't live long enough to even bother summoning in the 1st place.

Each their own I suppose but I like the extra mp bonus Zenith gives since I'm elvaan but if I'm solo or doing things which doesn't require me to use a lot of mp to keep people alive then it's Relic/YingYang all the way.

I'm going to finnaly clear a few things up, 1st off, for the LAST TIME, the Strider boots BS...I got mad at him for how he ACTED towards me when i asked, NOT becuase i didn't get them, but that's a long story and i'd really rather not service it again,

Second, Altho the gaiters thing did push me over the edge, i had many reasons why i decided to change servers, at that point in time it was either quit entirly or change, i choose to change, so it wouldn't have even lasted a few days, even if really would have got them, not saying i'd have changed or quit anyway if i did get, but i realized many other things after that incident, but again, no point bringing any of it up. but i will say the few times i did camp Tiamat i was the ONLY one who bothered to camp him, i gave up after seeing the LS didn't care if it didn't drop E body or a certain 2-3 hit attacking sword (speculation but you get my drift)

Lol..i wear dalmi as smn becuase it's called "Town Gear" i don't acttualy do anything as smn wearing it lol, well maybe for a free extra blink and protect etc. besides it went oddly well with af 1 pants :l I don't get "Grumpy" but rather fed up with seeing the same reaction out of people who don't know me that well but go by what someone else tells them without asking me. true i do tend to react harshly at a bad time but hey, never said i was perfect, but i'm not as hostile as you think i am.

I don't regreat leaving, i hope you guys do well, but i wasn't happy there anymore, and i don't think it's wrong to decide to not stay if you aren't happy, based on the people there, the way things are. as i said, quit or change, and i'm not giving up all i worked for just becuase of a handfull of people.
