I actually watched the final match of the LA one on youtube. Ike vs Kirby. Kirby player was decent (and won) Ike player failed at life.

Yeah the ike player was absolutely fucking pathetic. No dash game, no good timing/spacing, no real air attacks.

I don't care so much about that as he failed at VERY basic gameplay elements. I don't expect people to be using "pro" techniques or anything, especially with the CC setup, but he let himself die (as a heavy character) with ~50%-60% vs KIRBY, by not jumping/using UP/Over B correctly, missed with the Smash Ball, and barely even dodged. I figured you'd have to be decent or something to make it into the finals, even out of a random 256, but he proved me wrong... Originally Posted by Ryko
