What I gathered from the teaser trailer is that they only make it to Amsterdam at the end of the movie and that the movie actually documents their trip there (much like their trip to White Castle). I hope it's good, but who knows? Hollywood got their hands on it...

Hollywood has a bad habbit of taking good movies and making non-stop sequals until nobody wants to ever remember the original because they are so sick and tired of the movie series. I liked the original, but who knows if they will make the sequal up to the standards of the original.

Yeah that's the basic idea. Generally an original movie like the first one is somebody's brainchild; they have this idea for a great film and they focus all their attention and love into the project and make it what it is. When the movie is a success you get the big name execs to hop on board as EPs and then they fuck everything up because they change the movie's focus from "How can I get the best laughs?" to "How can I best make this movie to market it for the greatest profit?". It's a shame, but it's true.
