Further evidence that they won't stop until they've thoroughly raped every single memory of the 1980s I still cherish.

Well I dunno, people who made Iron Man is doing it...will be holding my breath...but then again
The can be only one![]()
Words cannot describe how empty this makes me feel inside. AFK crying myself to sleep.
I hope its goooood.
It took me years, years to hypnotize myself to the state where I believed there is only one Highlander movie and that they never made sequels. I was happy. Now they are really trying to make me unhappy in ways that they couldn't achieve with Transformers.Originally Posted by Guyverarmor

I also refuse to acknowledge the existence of a Highlander movie that isn't the original.
I guess I must be the only person on Earth who thought the TV show was better then the Original movie. I've always thought the first Highlander movie is downright awful.
I liked all the Highlander iterations except for III, I think. The show wasn't a bad time killer for the slot it usually aired on.
Can we lobby congress to make a law that prevents movie studios from remaking movies when the main actors are still alive.
Sadly, all it would mean is that the studios would hire assassins to speed up the process...
Someone should charge the set with a blade and behead all the actors, producers, director and staff associated with the remake.
Then shout, "There can only be one!"
Further proof that Hollywood is empty in the creativity department. All they can do is try a formulaic approach to churning out content, more often than not remakes, in the hopes of making a profit.
Whats your sig from? I dont have that newfangled cable thing on my TV set.Originally Posted by Fhqwghads
It has a potential to be very good, but I just don't know. Any Highlander without Queen's epic "Who wants to live forever" might not do it for me.
And aye to the non-creativity, yet we still do have many gems from the last generation.
Rofls all i can think off when i read this is that Aqua Teen episode. If you haven't seen it I highly recommend watching it... brb jumping off a cliff to become a highlander.
I highly doubt a remake of Highlander could do any further damage to the original movie that Highlander II did. Seriously, did you see that affront to film? It's in my Top 5 worst movies ever, and may very well be #1. And not in the "So bad it's good" way that Showgirls, UHF, and any movie starrting Jean Claude Van Damne are.Originally Posted by Correction
In that case, we should all start petitioning for a remake of Bio-Dome.Originally Posted by Septimus
