Implementation of Software Keyboard (May 15)
Software keyboard feature has been implemented to the following services under PlayOnline official website.
This feature can be used to input important information such as PlayOnline ID and password.

- Membership Information
- FINAL FANTASY XI Linkshell Community Beta Version
- Friend List Plus

Software keyboard is a feature where you can enter PlayOnline ID and password by clicking on the keyboard displayed on the web browser.
This feature is an effective measure against spyware that will steal input data through typing on the regular keyboard.
Please consider using this new feature for additional security.

Ok imma shout a stupid question concerning this then, if you save your password you dont have any risk of beeing scammed with those script that were on AH or somepage ?

well, it's somewhat more complicated, there's multiple ways to get hold of your password, having your password saved significantly reduces the dangers from keylogging, but there's still the possibility of getting the data sent from your computer when the software you use submits the info. All depends on how you're infected from what I understand.

To put it simply, if you're dealing with sophisticated enough douchebags, your password is not safe and never will be safe.
