FFXI Subscription

Not sure if i am posting in the right forum. Just would like to double check with you guys if the subscription fees has been raised. I called up my credit card company and was told that i have been charged USD$35.00 for this month's Playonline fees.
I thought the basic fee was USD$12.95 and USD$1.00 per every mule created.
I have one main & 4 mules which amounts to USD$16.95.
I can't really check the the Playonline services website for some reason.
Can anyone of you guys help me check if there has been a raise in subscription?

Did you renew your subscription part way through the last month? It only bills at certain times during the month so if you miss the billing cycle of one month it'll bill 2 mths on the next billing cycle.

Yes i renewed my credit card information last month. Could that possibly be a resulting in a double charge?

did you get billed the month before?

IE: Last charge was on 4/30, this charge is on 5/31?

If yes, then they double billed you and you need to call and bitch. What may have happened* was their system checked to see if you'd been billed on that card on 4/30, returned no and billed you for may when you'd already paid with another card.

When you reactivate your account, you do not get charged until the new first of the next month. Aka: Reactivate in May and get charged May and June in June. Doing this, you can technically pay a month behind. My account is deactivated at the moment because I pay a month behind, and reactivate every month. Haven't been able to reactivate because of work. It gets annoying, but it works until I have enough money to pay for both months in my account.
