Diablo II: LoD without disc

As the title says, with the most recent patch it allowed users to play the game without the CD, however, I read the patch notes and am confused as to what needs to be copied to where and so forth. Any help would be appreciated because at times, I admit, I'm a total tard.

Re-insert the LoD disk and click "upgrade to full install" if you haven't done that already. After that, there's a sound file on one of the disks that needs to be put in your \DiabloII\ directory. It's in the patch notes but the name escapes me, but it works after you do it!

That's the part that confuses me.. how do I get the sound file out of the disk and where in the directory do I put it?

Just look at the disk in windows explorer, they're not hidden files and should be in the main directory with "setup.exe," etc. Just right click, copy, go to your D2 directory and paste. It's really as easy as copying a word document, etc.
