I lost my first thread to the rollback last night

Goal Line Blitz is a Free American Football Web Based MMO

It's kinda like a mix between your standard RPG and Madden. You can create football players and join human owned and operated teams where they gain XP like any RPG from playing the games and from daily training.

You get skill points every time you level up and you can assign them your players. You are in complete control of your player's builds and can choose from various special abilities upgrades to help make your player unique. All of the games are sim'd every 2 days and while you are in control of some player tactics it is the human controlled offensive / defensive coordinators that really have the say in what plays are called.

This game started about 3 months ago with 2 leagues of 32 teams each (each team will have between 10-25 different human players on them). Now there are 81 leagues all with 32 human teams each so there is a lot of competition since you can trade players between leagues.

The game makes it easy for you to upload your own player avatars and logo's. They also offer private team forums as well as league and division forums. A lot people role play their players / talk smack in these forums.

The game gives you enough points to be able to create 1-3 players for free and after that they charge money to make more players (some people have 30+ players). The game only takes about 5-10 mins of your time each or every other day to play but also offers a lot of content for players that want to own their own team or be a GM or coach.

This game is really fun and helps makeup for the fact that the NFL does not start till the fall. My girlfriend has even gotten into this game and the learning curve is slight.

When you create your player you can re roll his stats as many times you want and it anytime you can retire him and get your points back to make another guy.

Is it pretty balanced position-wise, or is it hard for certain positions to find a slot on a team?

It's pretty balanced since you need at least 2-3 good QBs for a team and the same goes for RBs. Backups get about 20-30 plays a game so you can be the #3 QB on a team and still level up.

The most demand is for offensive linemen defensive tackles and defensive ends.
