My Diablo 2 isn't working :'(

Alright, I've been playing D2 fine all summer, moved back into my dorms yesterday, now whenever I try to join or create a game it takes a long ass time to even get to the loading screen (1-2 minutes), sits there for about 30 seconds and then tells me "Failed to Join Game" and boots me back either to the character select screen or to the lobby. Is the answer just "lolcollegeinternet" or is there something I can do to be able to play it? I'm on USWest, but I have the same problem connecting even on my USEast characters. Also, and this hasn't been happening as much lately, but when I first got here it was an issue: after logging into my account, it would tell me unable to connect to server, check internet connection and make sure port 6112 is allowed etc, after retrying that a couple times it's working fine and I don't see that error anymore. I'm not sure if the internet just had to get accustomed to D2 connecting or what, but I've never had this kind of an issue with WoW.

Almost certainly your college internet, you might want to go talk to support.

There's proxy services for D2 that you can pay for. Youll just HTTP tunnel in, and life will be good.

Know of any Mac compatible ones? I've been searching google for about 20 minutes have come up with mostly freeware proxy services for PC only.

Search for D2 HTTP Tunnel ones specifically. Shouldnt matter what your OS is as long as you're capable of creating a tunnel.

I downloaded Proxifier, is fine to use for what I'm using? Every time I try and connect to BNET using it though it won't even make it to my account screen, a window just pops up really quick then disappears. I entered the IP address my comp is assigned and 6112 as the port, put it on HTTP settings and "Use Authentication" where I plugged in my username/password to my school's wireless connection (not sure if I need that though), and it doesn't seem to work. I'll keep fucking around with it, I guess.

Edit: Actually, I can't even load a web page when I try and plug in that IP address/port number into Proxifier. Won't work using HTTPS, SOCKS 4 or SOCKS 5. Should I use the router IP or my computer's IP?
