    Zeni per Image rates

I can't find this information easily through search and I'm sure it is scattered and buried in a hundred page thread...

I am trying to figure out a formula that could give predictions on how much zeni is rewarded or at least be in the same ballpark. I don't know if someone has went and ahead and figured this out already.

I'm quite sure it has good deal of level involved. Obviously a big part of it will be Sanruku's interest. And numbers seem to differ in small amounts, which could make a tiny part of it random.

Got 102, 105, 106 on Fafnir once. Not listed as a preferred mob as far as I know.

Mob level, HP remaining standing in front of mob all effect it, also being his mob of interest seems to double the points, did rams yesterday got 94 per when wanted[did VT ones near Tav], then went to bed and turned two in later for 46.

A Marid near 1% from outside town will give 45 without mob/species required always, Chigoe will give 13.

Typically "large" mobs give base ~50, +25 for correct type, +25 for correct mob.

    Ex.

Sanraku asks for Vermin-Scorpion, assuming you do something of decent level like the ones in Meri_S will give 97-99 points at <5% hp.

Sanraku asks for Vermin-Bees, but the highest are soldiers outside of whitegate - they only give base ~16, +50 is only 66 - go do scorps again instead, get 49+25 for correct family and get 72-74 points.

Sanraku asks for Aquans-Orobon, which can suck to solo. Instead of doing something like jagils in Mt.Z (16 base, 25 correct family = 41) go do scorps again, get 47-49 per shot.

The "large" mobs that can be found fairly easily are:

Beasts - Tav. Rams or Marids - likely buffalo, but rams/marids easier to get to.
    Lizards - Wivre, possibly Peiste
    Vermin - Scorpion, Wamoura (Moth)
    Plantoids - ?
    Aquans - Orobon
Amorphs - ? Possibly Flan, untested
Birds - ? Likely Rocs + Hippo, untested

All other families untested, I typically will retarget for wivre in grauberg_s if the mob is difficult to sleep.

Wow, I never ever had a plate exceed 99, getting 100+ (slightly over 100 anyway) is quite impressive.

If you're capable of it, in my opinion, Genbu fucking rocks for pictures. He's easy to keep alive at 1% for as long as you want, and 1% Genbus are 85+ almost constantly, usually >90.

Yeah it seems there's also a bonus if the mob is an NM. We did Lamia one day and I happen to have one from Lamia No.4, base was 77 per iirc on a T Lamia, and the NM gave 99, but the pick was taken at apx 40% health iirc.

Normal mobs cannot exeed the 99 zeni cap. Only "Fauna" mobs and NMs can give 100+

Almost certain normal monsters can hit 100. I remember getting this much from a soulflayers.

1% LAC give 100 zeni, without being the NPC's "target".

i'd assume same thing with other salvage bosses.

1% limbus flower NM give around 67 zeni without being the NPC's target also, useful for when the NPC wanted shitty mob like orobon.

The Aw'Euvi for the limbus cards give around 65-66 if you are not in the mood to solo annoying requested pics like orobon or whatever.

from what I understand, then it's better to simply carry a Soul Trapper while doing LS events around, taking pictures randomly to accumulate Zeni?

On the subject of this, what's the difference between normal plates and HQ plates ... ?

HQ plates fail less, in other words just stick with HQ camera and NQ plates.

A great Zeni farming opportunity is while kiting Proto-Omega to farm chips. Pretty much anyone in the melee party is doing nothing but waiting for pods during that time and his HP is quite low so it's an excellent photo-op. I've gotten as much as 106 Zeni off of it. It's easy to rack up a good 1000+ Zeni while kiting which is great for pushing higher tier ZNMs. Just use common sense and don't snap shots when things are hectic.

Oh right. Well fuck that, I'll stick with HQ camera only and tons of NQ plates.

Combination of HQ and NQ camera seems best and most jetton effective.

Agreed. Also, since they don't share cooldowns (and since the HQ's recast is alot shorter), you can cycle the two cameras to take pictures a lot faster. For example, you can go HQ > NQ > HQ > wait 20 > repeat (effectively doubling to tripleing your output). You will fail a bit more often when using NQ film with an HQ camera, but it's really inconsequential as long as you bring some extra film/charges.
