Just in from a real life friend:
- Turns out that that links to Omnipotent here on bluegartr ls, by his AIM handles matching.

This guy scammed my friend of from what I was told, around ~$300? worth of money in gil. Friend said he was quitting, so was selling buncha random stuff and found this guy through some forums online willing to take his gil for some cash.

Uses the character called: Aromas on the Ragnarok server.

Think they sought to agree to sell $350 worth of gil, friend was nice and gave him it for $300 instead. After this guy bought he, he never paid friend back and friend is in the blah blah you know furious mode.

Seems like small potatoes really, PM me and I can fill you in with more details that are in a bunch of text files.

Just doing my duty to warn fellow FFXI players out there.

The guy didn't post asking for sympathy for his friend. His friend takes part in RMT, and Omnipotent takes part in RMT and is a thief and asshole. Good to know.

Your friend's already quitting and out the gil, so have him just report everything to the STF, including Ominopotent's real name/address/whatever you have, his previous character that got banned, and anything else that could support a decision to ban him. It's a longshot, but it could work.

Yeah, not being able to spend 5-6 hours a day at my computer, spending 17 a month and skipping classes for Nidhogg compared to going out with friends and doing remarkably better in school is definetaly owned.
