Tele-bots

There's this telebot in Ragnarok's Whitegate. All ya gotta do is shout for a tele, he invites you, then tells you to come to a pos and trade him.

Anyway, I was wondering if there was a way to mess with the bot so I can somehow steal his gil. >_> I just think it would be awesome to do.

i might be an idiot and remembering wrong, but i think it wouldn't let me even recieve gil in a trade if my inventory was full. try trading it 30 eggplants to fill its inv so it breaks and can't take money and thus can't tele anyone? could also see if you can MPK him with rapido somehow, but i'm not sure how you'd make that work.

Does he accept trades of 1 gil? I think that's the closest you can get to stealing gil from him... otherwise, maybe filling him up with eggplant is the best thing to do.

Also, don't waste a perfectly good eggplant on it. Trade it something completely worthless to fill it up, like Rock Salt or Distilled Water. something easy to farm so its free, and costs jack anyways.

And the bot doesn't specify how much gil to trade, so you could probably trade anything to it.

There's been a teleport-bot script in FFXIApp for ages. I remember someone on KI Asura posting about someone using one.

Theoretically if you trade it too little gil, it declines your trade and says "i need at least blah blah gil". I can't remember the wording. But yea, an open trade request should fuck it up nicely

I think they mean pay him the correct amount of gil AND trade him a bunch of eggplants, which could potentially work, I doubt the script checks anything other than the gil slot. You're still paying the guy that way thou, so not accomplishing much, especially if he checks on his bot from time to time.

Works on AH Bots too. If you have someone buying certain items ona bot the second they're AH'd. Just trade, I guess you can't access the AH while a Trade Request is pending.

Looking for more suggestions ...

Lately on Valefor server there has been a particularly annoying tele-bot. Instant invites, will not respond to party tele's, all that jazz. I'm looking for better and even more efficient ways to totally fuck up his business. Some ideas I've tried:

1. Shouting for free tele's whenever it is in the zone. Neat thing is, most people give gil just because. Other tele-taxi's thank me, and we end up working together but it just doesn't feel like enough.

2. Doing botchecks, which put me on the "Do Not Invite" list for the bot. I'm glad I made a difference, but I have mules ready to try any /trade or afk scheme that would actually work.

He's been reported many times yet I would assume whenever a GM comes knocking he's instantly there. Ah, name is Lris, check it's auction house history. Any and all ideas are appreciated, help me better mess with a bot and it's profits!

Hmm, I should try it. I know he has the basic crystals, so I'll send him to altep and see what happens. Just in case I guess ... I could try casting the spell, then accepting his trade and keeping it there til tele
