360 freezing up, little boxes all over screen

Well I'll try my best to explain it.

After renting prince of persia my 360 has been acting really weird lately. Whenever I try to play a game or sit idle on the dashboard it will freeze up showing little boxes all over the screen. I've recently messed around with the cords, blowing dust off them and taking them and putting them back in, and Call of Duty: World at War hasn't messed up yet. But just recently I tried Gears of War 2 to see if it would mess up and it did but this time it cut to a black screen with vertical while lines everywhere. I really hope this isn't an obvious sign to an incoming RROD but if it is..fuck. I'll probably have to send it in wouldn't I?

It could mean your cabling is bad, or the video processors in the 360 are beginning to fail. I'd give the 360 support line a call and see what they recommend for you, assuming you're still under warranty.
