Has anymore news or info been released about this game? Wiki says "currently in development by Square Enix with a tentative release date of Q4 2009." That's only a year from now but I am not really sure on wiki's source for the release date info. You think there would be more info out by now.

Wasn't this project scrapped years ago? For a while now there have been subtle rumors about a new SE MMO being in development, but I find it hard to believe it being anything more than just an idea on paper due to no "real" info being leaked.
Unless SE is terrified of FFXI dieing due to them releasing info of a new mmo (w/is illogical from a marketing standpoint), I just can't understand why nothing has been mentioned about the project aside a few screenies that were released years ago. You don't just "release" a MMO (or any game in general) w/o building some hype about the project pretty early on in development.

Squeenix likes to let the cat out of the bag slowly. They'll tell us about it and tease us just a bit, before going back into a cave never to appear until the year before its due out in Japan.

MMO's are diff from single players games that ppl get excited about closer to release and don't care much about years earlier. But an MMO depends on a player base, you can't begin to showcase a MMO a year before its launch if you want a big enuff crowd... well you can, it's just not a smart marketing move

Too many MMO's are coming out half assed these days... just work on it as long as is necessary, SE.. The better it is at start the more famous it will get..
