    Inuyasha Final Act

I know, I know, it's Inuyasha and after the horrible ending of the first season, I'd be surprised if anyone would want to give the second season a chance. However, there are four episodes out so far and I really enjoyed the second one's ending. I don't know if episode three was apart of the manga or a filler but I can forgive it since I thought the first two episodes weren't that bad.

I look forward to a real ending this time around at least.

I think I'll have to come over the fact of the way the first Inuyasha ended if I could pick it back up again :/ "Welp guys let's go find more bad guyz!"

The way the anime ended was rather abrupt but I believe that it was around episode 166 or 167. I am not 100% sure, but I believe it was a situation where the anime caught up to the manga and they just decided to end the anime with a message saying "Thanks for all your support, Inuyasha will continue in manga form". It's really nice that they are picking up where they left off to finish off the series. I am not sure how they are going to cover 200+ chapters in 26 episodes though.

Not for nothing but the anime thread is like 300 pages long, and unless you frequent it you may not know about some of these things. I personally don't venture in the thread since I'm only partial to a few anime's, I'm sure others are the same way.

I know the Anime thread has it's place and a simple search would have found it in that thread, but some of us wouldn't have known about this otherwise.

Sorry for the necro bump, but thought some people might be interested:

In the 34th issue of Shōnen Sunday, it was announced a 26-episode anime adaption of volumes 36 to the end will be made by the original cast and crew and will air on Japan's YTV. The following week, Viz Media announced it had licensed the new adaptation, titled Inuyasha: The Final Act (犬夜叉 完結編 Inuyasha Kanketsu-hen?). The series premiered on October 3, 2009 in Japan with the episodes being simulcast via Hulu and ShonenSunday in the United States.[14] In other parts of Asia the episodes are aired on the same week on Animax-Asia. The anime completed its run on March 29, 2010. It has been confirmed by voice actress Kelly Sheridan (Sango) that an English dub of the Final Act is currently in production.
Dub episodes are suppose to air sometime next year on Adult Swim (I assume.) As for now, all 26 episodes of the Final Act are on Hulu to watch. Surprisingly, they do much better job at the second series with less filler and (thank fucking god) a lot less reiteration of shit that we knew since episode 23.

    Spoiler: show
Naraku was defeated and the series came to a decent end.

First series was way too drawn out, but I really enjoyed the "ending" season.

Let's be realistic, Inuyasha could've been a really decent series if it wasnt SHIKON SHARDS FOR TWO HUNDRED EPISODES LIEK OMGAWWWD, it would have made a good 52 ep series. Rumiko Takahashi makes fun characters and puts them in interesting situations. Unfortunately, the trend her usual romantic comedies had of running for ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ev- didn't work with Inuyasha.

Well, when we get the Inuyasha reboot in 10 years I'm sure it'll be more succinct and to the point.
