I'm sure he will have mentioned in his application, but he learned to enjoy that trick from his RMT friends. He actually joined a gilseller linkshell (I think it was TheWolfamily, but don't recall for sure) for like 4 months about 2 years ago. By that point he had pretty much exhausted all his options for legitimate endgame linkshells. Not sure if he left because they got banned or he used them to get all the drops he wanted. But he would try to defend his actions by saying what nice people they were and they were honest and true friends in the game. >.>

At one point before that, he was in a skyLS with me, but got kicked multiple times for throwing hissy fits when he wasn't allowed to lot on something. In one instance we were trying to start doing dynamis together, smn dropped in Bastok, he went ballistic when someone else was allowed to lot, -aga's all the slept mobs and warped, resulting in a complete wipe. He then re-entered and attempted to ninja lot all the drops - currency and wootz since we didn't get any more armor. Fortunately, in this regard, most of the LS was complete new to dynamis, so it was a pretty big failure and there wasn't much for him to attempt to steal. He had pulled a similar stunt at Kirin before this, but was let back into the LS because the leader and he had a long play time history together. Our LS was nowhere near top-end, but we were only a few months old, trying to gain experience and he had multiple instances like this within a few months.

I believe he eventually got back into the shell over a year later when they re-shelled. I left shortly after that, but even then, he never showed up for anything. Would pop in occasionally to ask for help with something or try to get people together for his own events (often during our own farming timeframe), but literally, never came to any LS events. Like I said, he had history w/ the LS leader, but I don't know a single person who actually wanted him in the LS. He spent a lot of time lvling jobs in campaign battle since I think it was hard for him to even get party invites, given his dubious past.

I never had any personal problem with him, though I know some did. Maybe he's grown up some in the last few years, but if not he's not even remotely worth the hassle his job flexibility might bring.

He's pretty crappy at most of his jobs. Wouldn't put it past him to buy gil for everything.

Delan, most selfish and lootwhorish (besides me) person I've met during my stay on Levi. Joined a long time ago his Limbus LS, he actually made people pass Temenos BLM cause he wanted it. Also wanted top priority on Homam when he had no 75 job that could use, and even after he did get thf to 75 he wanted to priority even though he had less than half points than everyone else because "it's my LS". Which it wasn't anymore because he'd been absent for a long time and leadership had passed over.


PS. I'm joking, take him, no really, take him.

I'm not confusing you with anyone. Darton was never in Arsenal while I was, but you most definitely were. Your application on Demo's website has already linked to the KI threads with screenshots of you wearing the RMT linkshell - I just thought it was WolfFamily instead of ArrigatouGod.

Grow up little boy. Maybe if you'd figure out that life requires a little bit of humility, patience, and a willingness to accept the consequences from your actions, people would be able to see passed the stupid actions you made in the past. I've even see you try to sell this angle in an old application to CR, but no one believes you're sincere. I had limited contact with Delan on Leviathan. I originally met him when he came to help on a Promathia Kill for a few ppl's rings back around when sea first came out, he was on WHM and he did his job well, he was chill and from that event I would have had good things to say about him.

However at a later point after taking some time off FFXI I returned and ended up in a shell with him, the Dynamis LS Bananaphone, yes lol etc etc.
I bring it up because I remember him spalshing some unrelated drama into the shell and causing another member to leave and then he himself ended up dropping the pearl (or maybe he was kicked, I didnt care enough to find out).

And yeah as clyne said he did join an RMT ls where he stayed until he got everything he could mooch from them and then bailed on them too. This is a perticularly important piece of his character as this was the time when RMT were botting Ulli in sky and making it a pain in the damn ass for everyone else. So instead of staying with a legit ls he jumps on their balls which was a slap in the face to the entire Leviathan community no matter what anyone says.

I heard about his limbus LS and knew people that were in it and yeah it was shady the way drops were handled at times and yeah from what I remember it was fairly fail.

There was even a point where he bailed on his limbus ls and they asked the ls I was in to help them do an omega, so a few of us dropped a farming run to help them. I dont recall the full details of why he bailed on them but what i do recall vividly was that they did not have anything plesant to say about him.

Personally I would avoid him.

If youre hurting for members and you really need him, just keep everything said on this BC in mind.

Sounds like a lotta people are bringing up old news. Besides the fact that i'm seeing his name here in background check i suppose i can give ya the scoop.

I've been a part of LSs Delan has been in for the last 9 months (Livewire, NothingSpecial, ConnectionLost) and though he can be a pain in the ass at times he's never missed a single event since day one. When leaders aren't around he gets people motivated to do things. He is quite the loyal member and wouldn't be a bad choice.
