    Having trouble burning CDs

No, this topic is not necroed from the late 90s. I use windows media player to burn CDs and the damn thing stopped completing them a little while ago. It goes to 99% done and during the finalizing phase spits it out and says disc failed. Anyone ever heard of this problem? Any recommendations for another programs I can download for free that will do the same for me?

    Nero is your friend.
Also have you switched to a new brand of CDs? some discs and drives just don't get along.

Yes I suppose I could, though I am not very proficient in torrent downloading. Anyways, thanks for the effort.

    CDBurnerXP: Introduction and News

    There. That's a free program.

Is the drive old? Media old or cheap? They don't last forever, and DVD burners are pretty cheap these days (you could even buy one with an OEM copy of Nero). Unless you bought it just recently, consider dropping $25 on a new burner.
