Dynamis coin prices

Are there RMT going around buying coins for cheap and selling them for just about double the price? There's no reason for the huge jump in price. It cost 500k to enter dynamis and you usually walk out with 400-500 coins. Are people really buying coins for 1.5m? I think i'm gonna low man dynamis til the prices are back to normal. I wouldn't mind seeing resellers get banned for blocking people.

People buy and resell stuff all the time. This is no different. If you want currency for cheaper then you go shout for hours at a time to get coins. If you don't feel like doing that, then either sponsor or just put up with rolanmart prices.

It's the law of supply and demand, as long as people buy the currency at higher prices, it's going to happen. Park a mule in rolanmart and be faster than the people that buy the currency and resell it.

I'm not complaining really. I have mules on a couple servers and I noticed the prices all went up together. Just thought it was some RMT action. I can see how many coins are in bazaar. When I see one guy having 15 m silvers one day and the next day have 20 then the next day have 25 its obvious he's buying and reselling. I could do it but I feel it's cockblocking other people from getting relics.

As it's been pointed out "supply and demand". Prices to enter dropped and about 5 times as many people decided to upgrade relics (based only on just people I know - not sure about server/FFXI wide). Problem being that even with the price drop for entry there is not 5 times as many dynamis runs going on and most coins are now being kept in house. End result is fewer coins available for purchase and people who are selling can charge more. The price changes and supply are currently preventing me finishing shield in the time frame I panned.

I can understand why the OP might think there is some sort of orchestrated price increase since all servers seem to be experiencing the price jumps in dynamis currency, but I don't think servers are all that different when you think about it. Things are going to ebb and flow the same across all servers... it's just how it is in this age of ffxiah.com and server transfers.

There seem to be a number of people trying to make gil off of monopolizing various tradable items and raising prices; on Ramuh Choinori and Culdce have been buying various big-ticket items when people list them cheaply on the AH, then slowly putting them back up at a higher price. What you describe with the currency sounds like the same sort of thing, just in bazaars.

I have Aegis already self funded. Just about finished with M silvers for Excalibur so I started working on Apoc and now I'm like damn. The gil is not a problem but i just think the prices seem to be a little crazy and not worth it. I guess I'll have to settle for 3 relics and maybe do a mythic instead of going for 5 relics. I was just being a jew i guess.
