Does anyone on BG forums dabble in music? I'm making this thread for anyone who wants to share anything they've made, because damn it, music is awesome, but making it is even better. I'll start with some of my own(band's) concoction's

I play classic acoustic, but I've started playing blues recently and probably won't go back.

Only started really playing music in bands again since I gave up the vidya games. I was in bands throughout school, but stopped when I came to university and started wasting hours in Dragon's Aery. I see a definite causal connection there.

Ten-piece oldschool ska and reggae band. Trumpet, trombone, saxophone, guitar, keys, double bass, drums, percussion, two singers. Needless to say, coordinating rehearsals is an exercise in logistics. Only covers on Crapspace - haven't had a chance to "properly" record our own tunes. That's me on the bass. Booyah.

Also playing 7-string guitar in a progressive death metal band. We're still in the process of writing and rehearsing before we start unleashing the fucking fury on people, live or recorded. Think of like, uh... Amon Amarth mixed with swing jazz, funeral marches, King Crimson and the wrath of an elder god.

I'm pretty terrible at guitar when it comes to making my own material, but I can play others people stuff pretty well I guess. I do enjoy playing the drums a lot though, but there isn't anyone near me that shares the same interests as me :/. I guess I'll just have to stick to playing cover songs lol

I love to play guitar, and I think I'm pretty good at playing other people's music, but I don't know the first thing about writing. It'd be cool to hear how some of you guys that write go through the process.
