What's with all the hype? The show is consistently funny, but it is such a pain in the ass to sit through. I don't like half the characters, and it's painful to watch the situations that they go through. I recently finished season one and started two hoping that the dynamic of the show would start to change, but it's still the same shit over and over. "I need some money because I can't work." "No money for you, I hate you. Not really, we're family, I love you, here's money." Gah, I got tired of it halfway through season one. Does it ever change, and is it worth watching through to the end?

I don't remember what tv was like when the show aired, maybe it was fresh at the time, and maybe it irks me because I'm going out of my way to watch it, but it feels like shit to me. I do enjoy 'quirky' comedies, 30 Rock, Office, Scrubs, Earl, even Better off Ted is nice, but this is meh.

George Sr. is the best part of the show. While that is one of the more memorable quotes, in general, seeing people's favorite quotes makes me think "Oh yeah, I remember that part," but nothing really stands out about them.
