Advent Children Complete MKV file problems

So I recently downloaded an MKV file of this and it works great, even has an audio option for Japanese/English. My problem, is that I wanted to move the file to my external HD and watch it at my girl's house. When I dragged the file over to my HD, it tells me that I don't have enough free space. The file is 4.76 GB and my HD has 444 GB of free space.....so I'm not sure why it will not copy over. I thought about burning the file to a DVD, but the file is too large for a 4.7 GB DVD. :/

Is there any way I can somehow get this file over to my HD? Or maybe there's a site I can stream the movie from? I'm going over there tomorrow and would really like to have the movie with me in some way. Halp please, BG!

Going to say your external is formatted in a variant of FAT (max file size is 4gb)? If it is, you'll need to reformat it to NTFS.

I'm aware it is released soon. Problem is, neither of us own a PS3. So this is a cheaper and more convenient method of watching it.

Hm, possibly. This is the HD I'm using.
My Book Essential Edition 500 GB Hard Drives ( WDH1U5000 )

I probably should have mentioned that in the OP, heh.

Edit: Just saw when viewing it in My Computer that it is indeed FAT32. How would I go about reformatting it to NTFS?
Edit #2: Well from a quick Google search I found out how to convert it over to NTFS. But thanks Epical for pointing out
the solution out to me! Would not have know about that otherwise.
