Just applied to my linkshell. Says he just moved here to Siren, new name is Zechsmarquise.

His Linkshells on Remora were Minerva and Pathos. Any info would be appreciated.

I was in both Minerva and Pathos with him. With Minerva for over 2 years. He is a solid WHM and SMN. Loyal and dedicated to success and im quite sure he will be the same to any shell he is accepted to.

Just accept him so he won't return back to Remora as he originally planned.

I was with LC in Minerva/Pathos for almost 2 years. I have to second what Zinare said here. If you want someone that is greedy, annoying, will threaten to leave the ls if you don't do event/nm that he wants something from, only pops on ls when he wants help. This is your man. Don't expect him to heal anyone outside his own pt or do much of anything.

Btw would like to point out that genmo, is the current shellholder for pathos and was an officer in Minerva for almost the whole time it was around.

So first and foremost, no, lightningcount has NEVER been greedy and certainly isn't annoying, and he actually IS a good player. I've known him for a long time and he is a close friend, he's a very good whm and smn, he has high attendance rates and always has what's best for the ls in mind. The spiteful words seem to be coming from an excuse of a ls-leader who is bitter that one of the BEST players in her shell decided he was tired of the hormonal mood swings and irrational decisions.

Lightningcount is a good player, and a beneficial addition to whatever ls takes him (albeit I don't see why a ls wouldn't want to take him).

He has good attendance, a good attitude, he knows his jobs, he comes as whatever job he is asked to come as and isn't the type to complain about it. He is more then willing to help ls members out when they need it, all around he is a very well-rounded player.

I've known Light for a long time now. I met him before he was even 75WHM. He does have a high attendance but there's been issues when I've done events with him on BRD and SMN of using his subjob and actually healing. He is a sturdy WHM but I wouldn't advise using his SMN at all unless its DDing, Nor would I advise using his BRD. There have been multiple times I have been leading events in my social or assisting Minerva events in sea and limbus and Light would not listen to reason and go off on his own or back-talk frequently. I'm not trying to put him down, but I'm telling the truth about how he is as a player. If you're looking for a good SMN, Light's your man.

I'm not the one that left Remora due to a hormonal mood swing and an irrational decision. You're 16 and you send naked pics of yourself to LC. You weren't in our LS and you hardly ever played along with him. You would only taunt him with your illegal E-vagina. You have no objectivity. Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't our beef come from you throwing a bitch fit over my refusal to get the win for someone who has offended an Officer in my LS? Is that not a hormonal mood swing?

Go ahead and accept LC, I'm sure he'll have a home where people want him on Siren. We certainly don't want him back on Remora.

I'm pretty sure this thread hasn't been created to bash people, if you cannot read Zinare, it says it's a background check for lightningcount, not a free thread to release your menopause rants for the rest of the community to witness. I understand that you, among the many other people that do this, have a tendency to believe the first thing you hear, and create a war path with such information (One point being, no I'm not 16), however, whether you like or dislike lightningcount, that shouldn't prevent you from actually critiquing and giving a fair and accurate description of his ability to play this game.

You may dislike him, and that's important to let people know, but you spike flailing every person in the thread isn't what it was created for.

So the rant about my "moodswings" and "irrational decisions" is something I would classify as a "menopausal rant". You're a hypocrite and you're the one who started to go off the path from giving an accurate critique of LC himself.

With that being said, since you have demanded an accurate critique of this person I'll be happy to go into detail. Keep in mind, LC was a friend of mine and I do not seek to roll in the mud and slam him.

Here were a few incidents I found to be rather disappointing:

1) There was a time he accidentally entered a different zone in Limbus (SW) as a means to nab it, without waiting on others. We were waiting to go into NW and a group was already in there with 10 min left on the clock. A group of JP BLMs approach the area and are ready to enter. We still have the BC icon on the screen, which means we would be unable to enter even after those people got out of NW. This immediately tells us that LC is still in SW. We find out he is actually attempting to solo things in the area.

Entering the wrong zone wasn't the issue. It was the fact he jumped the gun without my "OK" and then stayed in the wrong zone to solo, knowing that we were competing with yet another group for entry into the NW zone. He ignored my instruction to leave immediately. This is a character flaw of his. He has the tendency to make judgment calls when he is in no position to what so ever.

2) We were in a static with him in Nyzul Isle. We already designated a member to call out lamp order and coordinate our progression on lamp floors. LC would immediately step in and confuse the other members about when to click and what order. This ruined the timing of our lamp coordination and it resulted in failure. Once again this signifies his tendency to make judgment calls he is not entitled to make in the first place.

3) Even in Limbus he would make judgment calls about which boxes to open up and where to go when I succinctly appointed another Veteran or Officer to take care of that area. He would just run up to the boxes and open them.

For my own personal reasons, I do not wish to dig up, I found that I couldn't trust him. He fails to understand that voices do carry.

As far as his character he annoyed me, but I'm sure he'll grow on others. At times he was endearing and other times he just bothered the living hell out of me. Don't mistake his loyalty for strongly ambitious motives to secure what he wants. He is quick to ask for help and at times quick to give it, but most of the time he'll only go if it somehow benefits him. He is a nice guy, a decent guy, and he'll probably be a good member... if you blacklist him.

Keep in mind he is only on his best behavior if he respects who is in charge...quite often that is hardly ever the case.

I ran a casual/social shell for a couple of years, and LC joined us during the last few months that it was active. The best word for LC is "polarizing", I think, as the members were split in how they felt about him. I do remember he had multiple shells, and if he needed something (YY robe comes to mind), he would hop from shell to shell to get others to help him, but I don't remember him helping much in our social. When I broke our shell after 2 years, another member made a new one, and LC sent multiple tells trying to get a pearl. After a vote, it was decided that he was just too iffy to pearl. The only event I recall him coming to with our shell was a dual-shell event with Zin's ls, where he spent more time giving orders than curing people, then he warped out after a wipe, leaving quite a few people eating dirt. The wipe was *not* just one person's fault, was a combination of things, but if you are able to raise, warping out without doing so is pretty crappy.

Now, I haven't played in almost a year, so he may not be quite so polarizing nowadays, but I remember having a hard time dealing with him when he was with us. Nice guy, but the leaders will need some major patience.

I wish him luck, though, no matter where he goes.

Leilei that event you are talking about, I actually death warped and was on my way back. Even said in my ls I am on my way back, but someone told me dont bother there were 3 whms up. That event was well over two years ago now. But yes I occasionally do hop shells to see if anyone is free to help me with some NM or something. Normally when it is with something I cant solo on my smn.

LC, that event was late last summer, it was about a month before I left the game. You were only in our shell for around six months, so it certainly wasn't over two years ago. As far as death warping, and heading back, as I recall I did a /sea all and you were in sky. I remember this, as I mentioned it to others at the time.

As far as multiple shells go, that's fine, but for a background check where you are asking to be a dedicated member of a shell, well, I feel it is valid to let your potential leaders know that you tend to pick and choose which shell you feel like equipping depending on your own wants/needs at the time.

Just stating my experiences with you as a former leader. You're not a bad guy, you just rub folks the wrong way sometimes and tend to put yourself first quite often, from my experience. Again, I wish you the best of luck, and hope that you will be content no matter what happens.

Adding this real quick as I didn't want to come off as totally negative. LC certainly does read up and study his jobs, events, etc... and I think that shows that he is dedicated to learning as much as possible so that he can do a good job. Not wanting to go into something half-blind is great, so kudos to him for that. There is alot of knowledge there, for sure, so I have to give him alot of credit.
