Hotel bargain websites for the NY area

In the vein of the restaurant thread regarding NY I was wondering if anyone knew of a good website or discount websites that had good prices on hotels. Im staying two nights in NY in the Manhatten area and am looking to stay from Thursday till Saturday morning. Not looking for a specific hotel, but in the realm of the Holiday Inn type pricing, (100-200 a night). Brother has a fight in the area Friday night so Im looking to hang around.

I posted this in another thread about NYC. Basically you're not going to find anything (decent, anyway) in Manhattan that cheap. I'm a fan of staying in New Jersey and taking the ferry to Manhattan when you want to go over there. The ferry is fast and cheap, and the places to stay are a lot better/cheaper in NJ than they are within the city.

Public transportation to Manhattan is quick and everywhere. If you want to save a boatload of cash, stay in NJ/Queens/etc.

What he said. Basically, look in any borough except Manhattan or look in NJ and just take the subways from there. If you don't want to stay in brooklyn or queens (subways can take more than hour from Queens -> Manhattan depending on train traffic) So the ferry from NJ or SI is a good bet. But if you're going to stay on SI don't go too far South because the SIRR is a fucking bitch to ride on =/
