Anyone know about Satellite tv?

So I've had satellite for a few years now. Randomly I don't get sound anymore. Everyone else here does, and tv sound works fine (playing games etc). Any ideas what this could be or do I have to call these assholes up to fix it?

chances are its either your box isnt producing sound anymore either from hardware failure or bad connection with your audio output cable check your cables and then if they are fine its your box... if your signal is weak it shouldn't just affect sound it would be your picture and sound. so chances are its one of the first 2 problems.

try using a different input from the box, the satellite runs sound and audio as one in the same during transmission and the only other way its the box is if there's some kind of a processing problem, its possible just one of the inputs died so trying another one may fix it, it could also be that specific input on the tv.
