    idk why I can't get into tales games, I got about 20-30 hrs into Symphonia and 5 into Vesperia but for whatever reason it doesn't really hook me.

    I know it's not supposed to be really nerdy and micromanagey like some other RPGs, maybe I'm just playing them wrong or something. After 20-30 hrs in Symphonia I never even knew you could combine skills, either.

    but uh.. how important is the Overlimit feature? Whenever I used it I'd get like 2 skills in and all of a sudden it'd just end abruptly, but I'm assuming this is how you link skills together to create combination attacks rite? Char could you explain the Overlimit system a little bit more? Also how important is cooking?

    I'm guessing the most important parts of the series is the relationships between the characters and the story, with very little menu surfing. Is this right?

    Maybe I'll at least finish Symphonia soon since I'm so far in it (just got to Te'the'alla, so about 1/2way? I think...)

    Overlimit is different depending on the game, your best bet would most certainly be to just look up a guide.
    The games systems each have their differences.
