When do they usually announce Holiday Bundles?

[Ponyo]

I just got the itch for a DSi (I know, don't criticize), but I thought maybe I could hold out and see if they release any cool Special Editions. Looking at all the Japanese DSi Special Editions, they look pretty cool.

Anyone have any clue at all when they usually announce "Black Friday" bundles or anything related to Special Edition's of consoles?

Generally speaking holiday bundles are announced well in advance of Black Friday so retailers have time to prepare. My guess is we'd at least have rumors now, but if there is anything coming out you'll probably hear about it by the end of the month.
