Is it possible to start up a saved game, then switch out the memory stick to save to a new one without screwing anything up?

If you're using an actual UMD, and not playing a game off of the MS, sure, why not?

Yea its for a UMD, just wanted to make sure before I tried it, it to find I erased all the saves on it or something lol

Why not just use USB connection to transfer save across to be safe?

I've switched memory cards to save to a different one with no issues

Just one thing to keep in mind, if the little memory stick light is flashing there is a chance shit could fuck up if you were to pull it out. Never played from UMD so I have no idea how often (if ever) it uses the memory stick outside of saving/installed games though.
