Geforce gtx295 + ffxi

I regret ever getting this card now as it is terrible for ffxi! With older drivers I got terrible FPS in busy zones and with the latest driver I get a constant jolt everytime I move and low fps in busy zones.

I'm curious if anyone with the same card ever fixed this issue or is that pretty much how it is?

dosent matter how good the GPU is you wont ever get good FPS in high population areas.

i got GTX 260 C216's in tri sli and only ever managed to get 10-12 FPS at AH.and with just 1 of them i also got 10-12 fps.and with my old 7950 i got 10-12 too.

just trying to point out even 4 year old GPU's do about as well as the latest and the greatest for FFXI its cause the game is a bad ps2 port.Its mainly CPU driven so even best GPU's cant do shit for it witch sucks ass i know.

I call bullshit on this. I'm averaging 24-26 at the AH on 1920x1200 resolution on my ATI 4890.

Nvidia is terrible with FFXI, much more than ATI in my experience.
